Joongbu University (중부대학교) was established in 1983 and operates its Goyang Campus in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province — directly connected to Seoul via subway. It offers programs in engineering, business, arts and humanities, health sciences, and IT, with a dedicated Global Healthcare Department specifically designed for international students.
The Goyang Campus puts students within Seoul's extended metro area at significantly lower tuition than Seoul-based universities. The dedicated Global Healthcare 2-year program for international students gives those interested in healthcare a clearly defined, internationally managed pathway.
The Goyang Campus features modern lecture buildings, a Korean Language Institute, student dormitories, sports facilities, a cafeteria, and the newly established international student center. Seoul is accessible via Gyeongui-Jungang Line metro in 30–40 minutes.
